Fallen Gods continues to impress on mesh bodies as well as mesh heads, taking full advantage of the added detail available for both skins and tattoos. Paired with items from the Plastik, lassitude & ennui and Senzafine as well as a hair from Alice Project, the result is a striking fantasy look drawing from a number of current events—Genre, the Wayward Carnival, the Epiphany and Hair Fair.

I can’t believe it is already June (the fact that the weather feels more like April—at best!—probably has something to do with it), but apparently it is true because the June round of We Love Role-Play is about to open at 3 pm SLT. This time, I find myself fully kitted out in new releases from the event, from creators such as PXL, Calico, Luminary, lassitude & ennui and ieQED.

If you’re not already all in black, its time to let your inner goth out to play because today the World Goth Fair by Cursed Events opens. The event sports an amazing, very appropriate build and an excellent selection of designers. In this post, I am giving just a little taste of that, combined with pieces from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, We Love Role-Play, The Secret Affair and the Dark Style Fair.

After a long period of not finding much of interest to buy, I was reminded that Stitched has a number of excellent outfits for men, aimed at the roleplay market. And so I dived in with one of their latest releases, Aidyn.

The Secret Affair is in full swing again and the theme for their January round is Untamed Purity. One of the designers tackling this theme is lassitude & ennui with a beautiful ensemble called Virtue.

I know, I know. I just wore the Thylacine boots by lassitude & ennui. But then I was going to review the Draco skin in the gorgeous blue tone that Fallen Gods released for We Love Role-Play...until I realised that the metal Draco that was given out as a group gift actually had Physique appliers.

The first round of We Love Role-Play for the new year comes with some serious attitude courtesy of brands such as lassitude & ennui, Eudora 3D and Calico. It made be grab a trusted spear from Tekeli-li and set out to conquer some new land, which I happened to find among the sims of the Arcipelagus of Fallen Gods Inc such asAnnon and Athan Selidor.

It is the 4th of the month, so We Love Role-Play is almost ready to open (the start time is 3 pm SLT). The previews are looking great and fortunately I’ve got my hands on some of my favourite releases already, such as this beautiful gown and cape combination from Luminary. My hair is also perfect for a fantasy/roleplay style, but it is a new mainstore release at EMO-tions rather than an event release.

Elymode is back. After a long hiatus, Elysium Eilde has returned to Second Life and reopened her store with new clothes, makeup and poses. I am showing one of the new lingerie sets in this post and it comes with a full set of appliers for Slink, Belleza and Omega.

I am also teasing a few releases that will be available at Gothmas by Gaslight when it opens tomorrow. This is where you’ll want to do your holiday shopping if you prefer it with a dark twist.

Still waiting for something resembling winter to make an appearance around here. Maybe more snowy pictures in Second Life is the key to reminding the weather what its supposed to be like? It also gives me the opportunity to show off a new fantasy skin from PXL for We Love Role-Play as well as a set of seasonal pauldrons from ieQED for the same event.

I love getting new skins, not the least because it is always a good excuse for getting naked. That is, save for some gorgeous jewellery and a pair of ultra-sexy shoes. And once you’re mostly naked, then lounging about on a new bed seems like a really good idea… You see? It all comes together so nicely.

Uber‘s “50 Shades” round is closing very soon (I do wish event webpages displayed the opening and closing dates more prominently!) and with this month having been crazy busy for me I had failed to blog the writing desk from Dutchie that I had picked up from the event. If you haven’t tried it already, you should really head over and do so. It is…inspiring.

Zaara has finally created a new traditional Indian outfit and one in mesh at that. The beautiful Chandni Lehenga is available at Mystic Realms Faire and that is also were you will find the Lynessa hair by Calico.

You just have one more day to shop at The Raven by The Secret Affair. As one might expect, darkness and death has inspired many of the things on offer, making them perfect for putting together gothic looks. For this post I am using accessories by ieQED and lassitude & ennui, together with a dress from Pale Empress. The photos were taken at Innsmouth, which sadly will be closing down soon due to a lack of funding.

A Clockwork Spiral is a steampunk-inspired event benefitting the National Kidney Foundation. There are many delightfully creative items on display from a wide variety of talented creators so do make sure to give it a good look before it closes in one week.
