A bit of an evening quickie with another harness/panties set from ieQED, a new hair from Wasabi Pills and makeup from alaskametro.

The latest release from the Plastik includes a top and two dresses, one of which I am showing in this post together with the matching high heels. The Desdemona Harness Dress features a distinct shape with the patterned overskirt coming down in points on each side of your body, making it look a bit like a scooped out ballgown. There’s some added width in the hips as well (but this style sells it well, making it look as if it is part of the dress) whereas the dress is quite fitted in the bodice. An optional harness fits over the bust and up around the neck for the perfect finish to this look. The dress comes in standard sizes plus an M2 option that fit me so well on top that I didn’t need any alphas for the bust and the harness went on without any breakage. I am wearing the Opera colour/pattern here, a gorgeous bronze-hued option, but as usual it comes in enough colours to make it very hard to decide which one to get. The matching heels feature the same pattern and a seriously tall stiletto heel.

I had no idea what forniphilia meant before Elysium Eilde of elymode sent me her two releases for Indulgence, an event exploring the naughtier side of Second Life (which in fact is not the only side, though it is certainly a fun one…). It took me a while to get around to these poses & props, mostly because both Ran and I are always exhausted at this point in June when we’ve spent far too many weeks covering Game of Thrones, leaving us little time for playing around in SL. But I did manage to drag him in today for just long enough to get these photos done.

Back home again after a week of a book tour in Spain and my inventory is filled to the brim with so many new items. I’ll be struggling a bit to catch up on my blogger obligations, but it will be am enjoyable struggle looking at what I’ve got to cover. To start with, we have a bit of elegant kink from ROMP monthly. For last weekend, technically, but since this is an in-store event anyway, the items in question are already in place at elymode.

If you or someone you know is in need of some correction, then elymode might have just what you need at the Pose Fair. Elysium had passed me one of the two sets featured in this post, and then when she wondered if the poses in the other set would work for a guy as well as a girl, I immediately volunteered Ran as a guinea pig. As it turned out, he was quite pleased with the arrangement. ;)

I am still digging my way out of a bit of a hole, but I do have a lot of inspiring things in my inventory that wants my attention, such as this outfit by the Plastik which I’ve had on for some days but not quite found the right setting for. But then I picked up one of Trompe Loeil‘s new items for Collabor88 and it started coming together.

This started with the dark and somewhat twisted Iron Maiden design by aisling for The Secret Affair. As it happened, it turned out to be a rather good match for one of the new releases from the Plastik—no surprise, really, since dark and twisted is something the Plastik does very well. The final touch was the new shoes from Bushu for My Attic and some bold red makeups by elymode and Adam n Eve.

Its still almost all about skins (and makeups) for me right now, though I did slip into a dress this time since the body is one I have featured in the past. This face from PXL is all new, however, and I paired it with some makeups from elymode, all from the Skin Fair which is now open.

Two more days and Skin Fair 2015 will open its doors. The second skin that I am featuring is from Imabee, whose new face Imogen will be launched at the fair. In this post you will also see new horns from the Plastik and some adorable fluttery critters from Dysfunctional Designs.

I am still having fun with the various Slink updates in that “ooh, new shiny toy” way. Of the two mesh heads, I usually use Emma since I feel she looks a bit more classical and mature, but I have to say that the revised Becky looks very nice with several of the skins available at Adam n Eve. Here I am using Taliya and the resulting cute but sassy look seemed just right for the Cora top and skirt from elymode for the Whore Couture Fair 4 which opens tomorrow (March 1).

What would Valentine’s Day be without a touch of nudity? I felt that the Justine couch from Libertine definitely needed to be showcased more and I thought it made a fine setting for showing off the Fairy Rings jewellery & stilettos from Sax Shepherd Designs for the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. Add to that a few sultry makeups from elymode for the Cosmetic Fair and nothing else is really needed.

A lazy summer afternoon at a barn feels rather far away when I look out through the window (sleet falling from grey skies, whipped about by a rather ferocious wind), but this little number from elymode insisted on some more pleasant surroundings.

Not my usual style, but I wanted to do something that fit a pose set that I picked up from elymode. Then I spotted the bodysuit from Luxuria for Fifty Linden Friday and Ran suggested that I go with the white version (you also get a black and a nude) and use a more austere build than what we normally go for.

Elymode is back. After a long hiatus, Elysium Eilde has returned to Second Life and reopened her store with new clothes, makeup and poses. I am showing one of the new lingerie sets in this post and it comes with a full set of appliers for Slink, Belleza and Omega.

I am also teasing a few releases that will be available at Gothmas by Gaslight when it opens tomorrow. This is where you’ll want to do your holiday shopping if you prefer it with a dark twist.
