Aisling has created two stunning jewellery sets for the current round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The Sadhana is designed to have an Asian feel, which reminded me that I had a lovely tea house from Convair to blog. It seemed like a good setting for this seductive dancing girl, wearing a stunning array of jewellery and an eye-catching gown from deviousMind.
deviousMind released the fantastic Thyia gacha for the last round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The set has now moved into the deviousMind mainstore for those of you who still have collections to complete. You might not, for example, have some of the gorgeous rares that I am showing in these posts.
Among the lush forests of the Fairylands dwells an elusive creature, whose appearance would seem to suggest that she formed from the very plants and trees of the woodlands. Her skin is painted by nature in hues of green, her curling horns resemble the bark of trees. Pointed ears peek out from tousled red curls and red are also the curious accoutrements she wears, made from flower, vine and leaf. Is she perhaps a forest spirit, guarding the woods from those who might wish them ill? Or is she the last remnant of some long-forgotten race, wandering the woods in hopes of finding one like her?
Gatchas are wicked things. I continue to try an exercise restraint (but that doesn’t mean I haven’t ended up with a bunch of duplicates for sale), because for the most part I really would prefer paying more and knowing what I get, but sometimes you end up fooled into thinking you are an extra lucky person who of course will get just what you want… But don’t believe that feeling, it is always a lie.
Case in point? The Alchemy gatcha at the Secret Affair. I just wanted one of the common iron crowns. By the time I had used up my self-imposed limit for that machine, I had ended up with one common (but not the one I wanted, of course), the rare and the ultra rare. So, lucky indeed, but not what I had originally been after! However, since the rare and the ultra rare are incredible works of art, I do have to show them to you, even if it feels like a terrible tease.
Valentine’s Day isn’t really a big thing around here, but the Internet makes it impossible to miss it. And really, if you don’t feel pressured to buy into the commercial aspects of it, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of extra love. But rather than pink and sweet, I decided to go for a cupid with a bit of an edge, using most of the highly sought-after Faranth set (the ultra rare crown not included) from aisling at the Fantasy Gatcha Carnival together with the belt from the deviousMind Harpyia gatcha and a couple of the Huntress poses from HopScotch.
This gorgeous burlesque outfit called Lady Vayne is currently available for just L$150 in a gatcha from deviousMind and since all the colours offered are excellent I don’t think it matters one bit that its random which one you get. And if you don’t know where you would wear it, you might also want to look at one of the stage builds available from Chandra Meehan’s other store, chanimations, such as the La Burlesque photostage which was used as the backdrop for these photos.
