A highlight of the Faire for many is the annual Quest. But did you know that here are several region-specific mini-hunts as well? They are a great way of doing some extra detailed exploration of those regions! You’ll find one of these on Ogham Grove, which inspired me to setup for some photos there as well. The pretty dress with the subtle sparkle in the texture is from the Muses (so happy to have Nephilaine back making lovely gowns) and the dramatic headdress and matching earrings is from Petrichor. With a HUD packed full of texture options, it was easy to match it to the dress. The poses are from Uzme Poses and the Sorcerer set, which for some poses include magical effects but I opted for using the druidic wand that was the prize in the hunt instead.
Ladies and Lords, mermaids and mermen, fairies and goblins and all other creatures, the time has come again. Tonight, the Fairelands become accessible and Fantasy Faire 2024 begins and stays open until May 5th. Prepare to explore, shop and be entertained across 20 unique Fairelands, all in the name of raising money for the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.
I’ve begun my journey to the Fairelands on my own sim, but thanks to HopScotch I have found a way to enter the Fairy Tale from here. I invite you all to follow along as soon as the mists recede fully and welcome everyone to the Fairelands. A few glimpses of what will be on offer from the fantastic creators taking part can also be seen here; a stunning gown fit for a Fairy queen by Les Encantades and jewellery to match by Drunken Brokkr. A pose from Uzme and fields of gorgeous flowers by MB.
A final look at this month’s round of We Love Role-Play, featuring an intrepid explorer who has come across an enigmatic statue in a cave. But what magic guides our adventurer here, especially as her milky eyes suggest that she does not see in the normal fashion?
Combining items from Harshlands (the statue, which comes in 3 versions and with and without PBR), Senzafine (the Brielle tunic, available in eight colours) and Poema (eye appliers with various eye conditions), with poses from Uzme.
Winter’s Hollow, by Dark Passions Events, welcomes you to explore creations inspired by the cold and dark days of winter. The event is open from January 6th to January 20th and I will be giving you a few looks at what’s on offer along the way.
First out, we have a cosy wool dress with a fur collar from Paper Moon, a rustic creation in natural fibre hues. Something to curl up in front of the fireplace in, perhaps paired with some cosy tights. A contrast against the rustic feel of the wool is provided by the jewelry set by Sigma, a heart-shaped pendant with a skull motif and matching earrings. A lovely memento mori with texture (and tinting) options for chain, setting and stone.
The final item from Winter’s Hollow is the Winter Bridge from Tirrany Designs, with elegant ironwork and four lights to brighten the night.
My hair is by Wasabi and to keep with the winter theme I used the option to have white streaks at the front of the hair. The style optionally incorporates a single braid but can also be worn without it.
