The roleplay gets a little naughtier today with the Rogue Shibari Frame from DICTATORSHOP, available at We Love Role-Play at 25% off from its usual price. The rough bamboo frame offers four textures and over 140 animations for 1 to 2 avatars, with both maledom and femdom menus being available. The Rogue series offers rough wood and suggestions of harsher play, which I think it fits right into the courtyard of the Quinta Palace by Fanatik. A public punishment for bad behaviour, perhaps?
I added in some mood lighting with the sturdy braziers from Tirrany Designs, also from WLRP, as is Superdoll’s Siren’s Modesty set, a minimal bikini with little moon designs. For a final set of WLRP releases, I used Boudica’s Brows in Ginger and one of the Iceni appliers for my eyes, a matching set from lovelysweet.
The gorgeous and aptly named Lush hair is a new Truth Collective release from Truth and Wasabi, available at the Truth mainstore. It comes with and without bangs, with four options for how to style the hair and with optional clips at each temple.
Winter’s Hollow, by Dark Passions Events, welcomes you to explore creations inspired by the cold and dark days of winter. The event is open from January 6th to January 20th and I will be giving you a few looks at what’s on offer along the way.
First out, we have a cosy wool dress with a fur collar from Paper Moon, a rustic creation in natural fibre hues. Something to curl up in front of the fireplace in, perhaps paired with some cosy tights. A contrast against the rustic feel of the wool is provided by the jewelry set by Sigma, a heart-shaped pendant with a skull motif and matching earrings. A lovely memento mori with texture (and tinting) options for chain, setting and stone.
The final item from Winter’s Hollow is the Winter Bridge from Tirrany Designs, with elegant ironwork and four lights to brighten the night.
My hair is by Wasabi and to keep with the winter theme I used the option to have white streaks at the front of the hair. The style optionally incorporates a single braid but can also be worn without it.
Sunset over a beautiful temple and an ancient olive grove by the sea, and a priestess is bringing a tray of offerings. What you see in these images are just a few of things that will be available when the November round of We Love Role-Play opens tomorrow, offering new releases at discounts of between 15% and 30%.
What is the note slipped between the pages of the slim volume about? A warning? A secret assignation? Perhaps the message was found by chance, meant for someone else entirely?
From We Love Role-Play’s September round comes a collaboration between Portal and Barracuda. The Oren set, which includes a belted tunic and pants, comes in a silk and a rough leather version. Each includes several colour combinations for mixing and matching between tunic and pants and the set includes fits for Legacy Male and Legacy Athletic. This event exclusive release is sold at 25% off.
Also from WLRP are the Lune eyes by Musa, which you can see a close-up of in the second picture. The colour I am wearing is from the Fantasy pack and you can get it and the other colours at 30% off while at the event.
Finally, I’m using yet another torch from the set by Tirrany Designs, which is 25% off.
We Love Role-Play opens in just half an hour and the September round has some great new releases waiting for you, now with discounts of between 15% to 30%. Just like this serving girl waiting to please her master, wearing the Harla Camisk by Rakshasa, a versatile little piece with options for wearing it partially stripped. The fatpack also includes a huge variety of texture options. This black and silver combination matches well with the Santagar Chaise by Sacrilege (available in PG and Adult versions) and the Amare Chalice by the same creator. The earrings are by Portal and the wall candles by Tirrany Designs, who has several different candle sets out at the event.
A mysterious sorceress, living alone in a grand elven palace permanently enshrouded in mists. Is she about to welcome her visitor or cast a spell on them?
From We Love Role-Play (open until the 28th) comes the magic energy swirls by En Pointe, the leaf wrap bracelets by Sigma and the beautiful build by Tirrany Designs. Scroll down for more pictures to see the latter two items more clearly. En Pointe’s release includes a HUD that controls the colour and style of the swirls and Sigma’s bracelets also come with several metal options as well as fits for a range of bodies.
The dress is a Petrichor and Ersch collaboration for Midsummer Enchantment. It is highly customizable, allowing you to show or hide the dress and the accessories in sections and of course retexture many pieces individually.
Finally we have the Dasha hair from Wasabi which is a Hair Fair release that donates 15% of the proceeds to Wigs for Kids. This long, straight hair offers four style options and hair clips that can be shown or hidden.
I love the new dress from Tres for We Love Role-Play. Nephi is a scripted gown available for Inithium Khara, Legacy and Maitreya Lara that offers various states of undress through a Touch-menu. My favourite is this version, with the bodice pulled down to reveal one breast. However, the top only and bottom only versions have an added benefit—you can wear two dresses and get the top and bottom in different colours! I am wearing the Khara size and don’t forget that We Love Role-Play has a raffle for 5 Khara bodies that you can join by wearing the group tag and clicking one of the raffle boards at the event.
Also from We Love Role-Play is the Helvi forehead chain by NeonSheep, a very delicate and pretty piece of jewellery that I have included a close-up of below. It comes with a HUD for texture changes.
Even Ran picked up some new clothing from We Love Role-Play, after I pointed him to the Colorblock Doublet from Stitched. For male RP clothing, Stitched is definitely one of the best sources and this is a really nicely made doublet. I just wish someone was making this kind of clothing in female fits too. ;)
And though you don’t see too much of it, the interior is from Tirrany Designs Stylized Medieval Tavern. I really like the look of this build, but it is quite large and a little difficult for me to get good use of given my attempts at more realistic avatar sizes.
Spring may be just around the corner, but the weather we’re having lately makes it feel much further away. Fortunately, with the lovely new trees from Fanatik I am able to enjoy some lush greenery in Second Life instead. Fanatik has released two sets of trees, the poplars I am using in this post and also a Nordic pine set. The poplars include six different shapes and come in Winter, Autumn and Summer variants, with texture differences even within the ranges. The sizes are easily modified, but of course the land impact will change if you do so. At sizes up to 10 meters, they are 1 prim each. You may also notice that the leaves do not cause alpha issues with the background even though that is a common issue when using a mesh surround.
