Oh how I wish for some snow now, but alas none around here. At least Fanatik has me covered in Second Life with their new release of snow shapes with highly realistic PBR textures that glitter in the light just like real snow would. They pair beautifully with their Nordic Pines, also with PBR textures, to create a snowy landscape for two Christmas-themed items from Dictatorshop. The Gingerbread Conservatory is a fanciful decor building, perhaps not exactly the home of a witch but very charming for the season. This is not a brand-new release but part of a previous Christmas collection. New, however, is the Holiday Wishing Well which is out at Cosmopolitan. This well is available with either PG or Adult Vanilla animations and is beautifully decorated with holiday ornaments.
And last, but not least, we have a new round of We Love Role-Play that you do not want to miss, especially since every designer is offering a 50L item as a holiday special in addition to the usual new release at a discount. I am wearing a stunning gown by Ruxy that makes me think of Victorian Christmases, except for the very plunging neckline! My eyeshadow is from Rubedo, very sparkling and festive, and the lipstick from Poema.
The Fantasy Faire is over for this year (though I did manage to sneak in for this photo) but We Love Role-Play is here! The May round offers a fine lineup of creators and I am starting my blogging with a silk from Ruxy accessorized with double armlets from Secret Witch. Ruxy’s outfit features metal flowers, delicate chains and two minimal pieces of fabric for your modesty. The included HUD gives several texture options for each element and the set is fitted for Maitreya Lara X and Legacy.
Secret Witch’s armlets combines celestial imagery with a serpent, very appropriate indeed for a witch. There’s a HUD for texture options and the armlets are fitted for Maitreya Lara X, Legacy and Ebody Reborn.
The pose was released by Astalianda for the Fantasy Faire and the hair is a recent Happy Weekend special from Wasabi, a cute pigtail style with or without bangs.
We Love Role-Play remains open for two more days, until the 28 of September, so don’t miss the chance to check out all the great deals for this round. You will find new releases at 15% to 30% discounts, such as the lovely Cerridwen gown from Ruxy and the Butterfly Hennin by Grasshopper St. The gown is definitely more of a fantasy piece whereas the headgear is appropriately medieval. The ensemble gave me a reason to revisit my little Renaissance-inspired town, built with Del-ka Aedilis’s Medici Series of buildings. I also added a fountain from Hextraordinary to fill out the central square some.
