Redeux is now open for the October round, running from the 14th to the 21st. There are plenty of discounted items on offer, including a L$50 offer from each merchant, and you will find everything from fashion to home & garden items. I decided to begin with a feature of the latter, showing some medieval buildings from Harshlands and some autumn decor by Artisan Fantasy.
I’m finding myself rather spoilt for choice when it comes to blogging right now. Almost a little overwhelmed, even. I try not to pack too many things into any one post, but I couldn’t resist going all out on the accessories for this image since the pieces from the Plastik and Voluptas Virtualis fit so well together with them both using the heart motif and being rather naughty at the same time. The title of the post comes from the lounger, however, a new piece by Roawenwood. And that is not all of it, so dive in to see the rest.
There is a new round of Enchantment and this time it takes its inspiration from Lord of the Rings and the designers offer everything from orc-inspired skins to robes fit for an elven king. I am showing you a beautifully textured dress from Senzafine and a set of chairs from Roawenwood with clear elven inspiration in the elegant lines. Additionally, I am wearing another piece from the current round of Redeux (remember, that one is only open for a week!), an intricate necklace from On a Lark. Finally, the hair is Cayden from Wasabi, released as a male style but as you can see it works fine for a female avatar as well provided that you don’t have too large a chest (there’s only two size options for the chest).
A lingerie shot for Valentine’s Day may be somewhat cliché, but I do think the addition of plaster elephant planters from Paper Moon makes up for this by being more unexpected. I also think the couch from Painfully Divine has a nifty twist to it: it has a really cute feature that allows you to change the writing at the front to either “spankings” or “smooches” and to adjust the tally from 0 to 10. The pose is not from the animations in the couch, however, as most of them are for couples and Ran was too tired to be dragged into Second Life today (we had a roadtrip yesterday and returned just after midnight, so he’s forgiven), so I ended up using a pose from a set by Serendipity. Both the couch and the pose are from the brand new round of Redeux.
