Analog Dog has been one of my favourite hair stores for a long while, first for their flexi curls and now for their mesh curls, often accompanied by some flexi curls to soften the overall look. Their latest release is a must for a wild, windblown look. I am also showing a little tease of Bushu’s next release, a pair of very ethereal heels.
Its We Love Role-Play time again and I am a Bikini Battlefield Babe courtesy of Aisling’s and PXL’s new event releases, as well as a new hair from Truth.
When previewing the Festival of Sin II, I was very pleased to see that one of the participating designers was Solange. I used to wear her silks and other outfits quite a bit, so it is nice to see her back and doing mesh—and naughty mesh, at that. And while I was playing around with poses, trying to come up with how to photo this look, I had a surprise folder from Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie land in my inventory with her latest release. That turned out to be just what I needed.
The Festival of Sin II opens today, with an area themed to each of the Seven Deadly Sins. Not everything was setup when I visited the preview, but there was plenty of sin to be had even so. In this post, I am looking at sinful releases from Jian, Aisling and PXL.
Whew. Finally back at my own desk. Not that I haven’t had a great time, but I did miss the conveniences of home…not the least my large screen. I have a sizeable blogging backlist, so today I dove right in to give you a look at some of Jian’s recent releases, accompanied by items from alaskametro, ieQED, Maxi Gossamer, Wasabi Pills and PXL.
It is one of those rare occasions when Ran finally has something new to wear, this time courtesy of Anachron. He’s also got a nice new long hair from Calico, a Hair Fair release just like my veiled style from Oblivion, which is matched to a new gown from Luminary. In the background, curtains by Paper Moon provide a dash of colour.
I had collected a few pieces from 22769 ~[bauwerk]‘s Mystery Gacha, but I didn’t have a good idea for how to use them. But then I was reminded of my Landscapes Unlimited skyboxes and decided to setup a desert scene to showcase an upcoming release from aisling as well as a new skin from PXL and a Hair Fair release by Calico.
My last ROMP post was, all considered, rather demure. But with the Saxton Bedroom from Jian, things heat up considerably. You can also get a good look in these shots at the full-body freckles from PXL and some new items for the relaunched My Slink Obsession event.
I am back from adventures in Stockholm and on Ă…land. Summer has hit with a vengeance and it is now too bloody hot, which makes sitting in front of a computer rather uncomfortable. But a few interesting new releases had landed in my inventory during my absence and I managed to put together a little something with a saucy dress and a pair of very tall boots from the Plastik. These are both part of a set of exclusive releases for a new satellite store.
With this kind of outfit, my go-to kind of location has been a desert-y environment. But I’ve taken a lot of shots at Kingdom of Sand and at our own little desert, so I went looking for something else and came across Fruit Islands Tropical Rainforest. Since the dress by Senzafine is for the Conquest, a Game of Thrones-inspired event, lets just say my character is visiting the Summer Isles and marvelling at the local flora and fauna. The hair I am wearing is by Wasabi Pills for the same event.
I can’t believe it is already June (the fact that the weather feels more like April—at best!—probably has something to do with it), but apparently it is true because the June round of We Love Role-Play is about to open at 3 pm SLT. This time, I find myself fully kitted out in new releases from the event, from creators such as PXL, Calico, Luminary, lassitude & ennui and ieQED.
One of my oh so useful degrees is in classical history & Mediterranean archaeology, with a particular focus on the Bronze Age. I’m deeply fascinated by the Minoan and Mycenaean civilisations, both the historical and the legendary aspects. But I am not going to turn this into a lecture, just say that I was thrilled to see this collaboration gown from Faida and Junbug at The Fantasy Collective.
This post combines the talents of two of the foremost brands within fantasy accessories—aisling and Alchemy—and their contributions to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.
From World Goth Fair comes a bed by bauwerk from 22796, a sexy dress by the Plastik and slithery shoes by House of Rain, paired with a makeup by elymode from Cosmetics Fair.
We Love Role-Play has just opened its 2 year anniversary round and it is a fittingly spectacular round, with many great offers and plenty of designers with celebratory gifts. Some of my favourite pieces this round come from aisling, PXL and the Plastik.
