A new round of FaMESHed opens tomorrow and sexy new mesh brand One Bad Pixel is taking part with this sexy Ring Bikini. Brand new is also this mesh hair from LeLutka and I am still wearing my mesh FATEeyes. The little necklace that fits so well into my cleavage is a recent release from Dark Mouse.
What else to call a post that combines some fabulous new mesh adornments inspired by A Song of Ice and Fire from Tekeli-li—both jewellery and a hairstyle, at that—and another limited edition wedding gown from Nomine? The gown, btw, is due to be retired in a few days, so make sure to check it out soon!
Fantasy Faire 2012 continues apace—in fact, it’s been extended a day because of SL’s problems this Thursday—and there’s so many great designers present, it’s rather ridiculous. To continue the focus on Devil’s Locket, this time we have stunning, stunning furniture (and more) from one of Second Life’s premiere mesh designers, Maxwell Graf of Rustica, who’s also the official sponsor of the sim.
In this report from the Fantasy Faire, we are all ears for the shocking gossip about the high elven lady and her seelie lover.
Actually, we’re all ears for the fabulous new mesh ears from Illusions, but close enough!
Other Faire goodies in this post include the stunning Cernunna gown from Nomine and one of several new mesh hair styles from Wasabi Pills.
Gorgeous gowns are a necessary element of a Fantasy Faire. Every self-respecting lady and ethereal elven maiden needs to be dressed appropriately, after all. On the Shifting Sands sim, you’ll find Kouse’s Sanctum and a wide variety of very lovely gowns.
I am also wearing a Fantasy Faire skin from ND/MD Skins & Shapes.
Opening soon is One Bad Pixel, an all-mesh store that focuses on the saucier side of things. They have advised following their plurk to find out exactly when and where the store will be opening.
I was sent a preview of their opening collection and I’ll be sharing a few pieces with you today. I know, I know, full mesh clothing isn’t really my thing since I won’t change my shapes, but these pieces are so sexy that I had to dig out the shape that worked the best and get creative with angles. I do think that these mesh pieces are more proportionate than many others that I have tried, though it is all following the “Standard Sizing” system.
The fence I am using to pose with is from LostAngel and it is part of their Spring collection for the Pose Fair. It comes in two versions—single avatar and multi avatar—and features a total of 10 poses. This is a fun, versatile prop with some great poses that you can easily use in a variety of contexts.
The last weeks have been crazy, but I finally managed to squeeze in some photography today to cover some new releases, an on-going event and an upcoming event. Phew.
The on-going event is Wear Gray for a Day which benefits the American Brain Tumor Association. I am not exactly wearing gray, but I am wearing an eyeshadow from elymode that’s one of the donation items for the fair. The capris with mesh attachments are also from elymode and are available in two special colours for the event.
The upcoming event that I want to make note of is Pose Fair 2012 which will run from Sunday April 15th to April 30th and showcase 120 vendors across two sims. Lately, I’ve been playing a lot with furniture with built-in poses and animations, such as these chairs from our patisserie by Alchemy Immortalis.
Munchflower Zaius of Nomine has another large, themed release out. This time, its all about Steampunk and she’s made some really nifty outfits—including some for the boys. I selected a pair to show for this post, one suit and one dress. The collection also includes hairs, hats and goggles, for that full Steampunk look.
This post also features another awesome new mesh hair from Wasabi Pills, mesh boots from lassitude & ennui and mesh furniture/props from Rustica and a new brand, the Muses, from Nephilaine Protagonist. Poses used are from Exposeur.
Alchemy Immortalis has done it again. That is, released a must-have jewellery collection. It is called “Deirdre of the Sorrows” and it is inspired by legendary Irish lovers, Deirdre and Naoise. The center-piece is a stunning, unisex ring but you can pick up a wide array of complimentary pieces as well.
Of course I had to shoot these pieces on their lovely Empress and Hierophant sim. I also needed a fabulous new red hair to go with the jewellery, which ended up being Truth’s new mesh release, Parisa.
With the Zarah necklace from Bliensen + MaiTai and the Bindi top from Sn@tch, both from Fashion for Life, the end result is a bit of a summery, bohemian look.
For my second Fashion for Life-post, I’ve paired some stunning new jewellery from Earthstones with a sexy silk from Solange.
Fashion for Life is back again, for the 6th year running. From March 10th to March 20th you can shop until you drop on NINE sims full of fabulous fashion. Best of all, you can contribute to the SL Relay for Life which collects money for the American Cancer Society.
I am going to start off with a focus on jewelry, because every gorgeous outfit needs that perfect finishing touch. Of course, in my first set of photos, the lovely hip chain in unrigged mesh from Maxi Gossamer is left to accessorize just the lovely, brand-new Tasha skin from Adam n Eve.
The second round of FLUX has started and the theme for this month is taxidermy. This has sparked some distinctly unusual and quirky creations that could inspire some very neat photography as well as some very fun, wearable items such as this mesh skirt from elymode and the jewellery set from Schadenfreude. I am also wearing a new mesh hair from Wasabi Pills for the March Mesh Madness event.
I have already shown several shots from the Ka’u Beach Skybox from Trompe Loeil for the Festival of Sin, but I’ve still got locations left to showcase. This time, I’m in the bath. I’ve also snuck in a lovely new couple pose from oOo Studios in the second photo and I am wearing the brand-new Yumi skin from Adam n Eve.
The Festival of Sin is still going strong. If Lust and Wrath aren’t your favourite sins, how about Greed? LAP has several great pose & prop sets to express a love for money with. Of course, a little Lust on the side is necessary, here in the form of the sexy Lussuria sets from elymode.
