I love a well-stocked library, and a few grimoires are never a bad idea to have around. Well, they can be a bad idea if you are careless with them, but just handle them with the suitable precautions and all should be well. The set of Grimoire Books from Petrichor for Trick or Treat Lane come with a huge hud of customisation options (you can change both the binding and the edges) and also include several preset holding positions for each hand that will combine nicely with other poses. Now you will never be short a magic book when you need one.
Also from Petrichor are the Vaera Claws, here in a witchy black. These also have loads of options, both for different shapes and for various textures and bump maps. If you want to give yourself that cutting edge, these will definitely do it.
The rest of the outfit combines a cute hairstyle from Wasabi (the headband is of course texture change and tintable) with a sleek and sexy bodysuit from Miamai (on sale for L$50 at the Shop & Hop) and a necklace from Kunglers (a gift at the Shop & Hop).
A dashing nobleman visits his mistress and gifts her with a magnificent set of jewellery. She sits down at her vanity to admire how the stunning necklace and earrings looks on her, adding a dash of perfume while she is at it. Her lover looks on admiringly.
I love how this came together, the beautiful vanity from Dictatorshop serving as the focal point for the rendezvous. The store is very generously offering group members an L$1000 gift card for L$1 to cheer everyone up. There are plenty of decor-only items in the store for under 1000 and even quite a few with PG animations or a more limited selection of Adult animations. If you want the really fancy versions, with all of the adult options, they cost more but they also include a very large selection of animations so they are well worth it. There are several different furniture series available, to cater to a wide range of tastes.
I was going for something elegant and seductive to show off this lingerie set with plentiful lace applique from Voluptas Virtualis. But as I was playing around with the lighting, Elio glanced over at my screen and said “oh, that looks nice, its so moody”. And I had to agree. The simple setup, the stark shadow and the pose from oOo Studios came together really nicely like this. The simple, clean lines of the Vivid hair from Truth plays into that as well, and the earring from Kunglers provides a striking accent.
As my herd of Teegle horses has grown, I’ve found myself wishing for a stable that would fit in with the rest of my sim which is full of castles and the like. The latest release from Fanatik goes a long way to fulfil that wish. It may not be a full-on period stable, but it definitely looks great and suits my Teeglepets perfectly.
But that’s not all I’ve got for you! The Muses has a new mainstore, so I am showing off a favourite from their current collection of gowns, and Skin Within has another new skin out, the second after their return to Second Life. So do keep reading for more photos!
Today is the final day of Fantasy Faire for this year, the final hours before the Fairelands disappear into the mists once more. But, they always return, in one form or another. For my final post, I thought it was fitting to commemorate this by incorporating some items from previous Fantasy Faires together with some key pieces from this year.
