For the spring round of The Seasons Story the team behind aisling has created a three-part outfit (dress, shoes and headdress) and a matching swing with both single and couple poses. I thought these would pair perfectly with the stunning new house from Trompe Loeil, available at this month’s Collabor88. My hair is also from the Seasons Story and is created by Wasabi Pills.
We’ll start with a closer look at the Balancelle swing by aisling. Three versions are included—no swinging, swinging on touch and swinging on sit—and the HUD allows you to select between three wood colours, three flower colours and three pillow colours. By chance I ended up showcasing two of the wood colours here as the HUD requires you to initialise the pieces by touching them. I ended up with the swing not changing colour as the frame did, but I rather liked the effect and the opportunity to show two of the options, so I kept it like that.
The swing includes sits and lays for a single avatar as well as a selection of couple poses.
The Cortonas Villas by Trompe Loeil is an absolutely stunning recreation of a small Tuscan village and the whole set is only L$388 at this month’s Collabor88. That is a completely crazy price for the quality you are getting from Cory Edo, from top notch mesh modelling to stunning texturing with great use of materials. Add to that scripted lighting systems both indoors and outdoors, scripted doors and a full home control system and you may just find yourself wanting to move in sooner rather than later. I am currently plotting how to give this gorgeous build a permanent home on my sim, perhaps in the sky with an appropriate surrounding landscape, because it is that lovely. I can think of so many things to photo here.
The outfit from aisling consists of the Laura dress, Indiana shoes (for Slink medium feet) and the Primflette Elegance headdress. I am wearing the dress and the shoes in pearl but they come in a range of pastelly spring colours. Each item also comes with a HUD that allows you to customise details such as the belt on the dress, the straps and the shoes on the roses and the roses on the headdress. Each dress also comes with three skirt options (controlled via the HUD) and if you own the dress in multiple colours you can use the HUDs to mix and match different top colours to different skirt colours.
The set is full of exquisite details and I am very impressed with the fit and the modelling of the gown considering that the creators behind aisling only moved into clothing very recently.
I am wearing the Pixie skin from the Skin Shop again—it seems I am on a pale kick—and my hair is Hanako from Wasabi Pills, also from the Seasons Story, in my favourite colour (Cinnamon). The first two poses are built into the Balancelle swing, the last is from oOo Studios.
