Spring may be just around the corner, but the weather we’re having lately makes it feel much further away. Fortunately, with the lovely new trees from Fanatik I am able to enjoy some lush greenery in Second Life instead. Fanatik has released two sets of trees, the poplars I am using in this post and also a Nordic pine set. The poplars include six different shapes and come in Winter, Autumn and Summer variants, with texture differences even within the ranges. The sizes are easily modified, but of course the land impact will change if you do so. At sizes up to 10 meters, they are 1 prim each. You may also notice that the leaves do not cause alpha issues with the background even though that is a common issue when using a mesh surround.
Les Sucreries de Fairy are the creators of the whimsical Marie Antoinette outfit that I am wearing. It is a release for WLRP that comes in a selection of pastels and fits Legacy and Maitreya.
To go with the outfit, I am wearing a makeup set from the Dreaming Thicket called Marquise. It is one of the rare items from an Arcade set called Powder & Patches, where the commons are various beauty patches and the two rares full sets of powders and rouge. I love that the set also includes a notecard with details on the “Language of Patches” reputed to be used at the French court.
The charming lounger is from Tirrany Designs and is another item available at WLRP for a few days more. It features male and female single animations as well as a menu for cuddles.
