The December round of the Arcade is just around the corner, and Aisling will be participating with the Nini’s Living Room gacha. Here, we decided that the set made for a nice backdrop as we take a closer look at our latest skin purchases from DeeTalez and Birth as well as remind you why Slink Physique is a great choice for both male and female avatars.
A few of the pieces from the Aisling gacha set can be seen decorating this room, such as the couch which is one of the rares and the long table which is another one. There’s 25 pieces in total and 3 rares, but plenty of the commons should make very nice additions to your SL homes as well.
My latest new skin is Ninniach from DeeTalez, which I picked up at 25% off as part of the Skin Addiction Black Friday sale. The strong blush makes for a unique look and I found that it combined well with a bit of a stronger face, showing that it need not just be worn as a cute look. I am wearing it in the MixedType tone but I have to say it also looked lovely in the Celtic tone.
There were fewer choices for guys at the sale, but Ran had decided he needed another skin with Slink compatible appliers and so we did a bit of demoing before settling on Rufus from Birth, here in the Forest tone and with a light stubble. The Birth body has a nice, lean definition which suits the Slink Physique male body very well; its fit without being muscle-bound.
And speaking of the Slink Physique body for men, you can currently find it at the Marketplace at a 10% discount as part of Second Life’s official 12 days of savings sale.
My hair is Theresa from Analog Dog and this colour pack is currently available in the “freeball” outside of the store, which occasionally gets stuffed with a few new gifts. Analog Dog is also having an excellent Black Friday sale, with many styles discounted. Ran is again wearing Lioncourt from Tableau Vivant.
