Otherworldly

When it comes to fashion and appearance, Second Life offers the whole spectrum from realism to over-the-top fantasies of all kinds. I tend to play around somewhere towards the more fantastic end of the spectrum, though my preferred look is largely human. But I do enjoy fantastical outfits and accessories, not to mention hairstyles that would make Rapunzel jealous. Such as this impressive braid from Calico for Hairology. Also featured in this post are items from Aisling and The Muses.

Aisling has made a whole set of golden items, from the body glitter and golden tears worn here to a spectacular golden crown, which will be released at the Secret Affair’s September round. The theme of that round is, not surprisingly, “gold”.

I decided to go all out with the gold theme myself and put on the golden Dragonscale top from the Muses, a fitmesh design that comes in sizes for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza and classic avatars.

A closer look at the Louise style from Calico. The thick braid is gathered to one side and draped over the shoulder and the style comes in two sizes, to accommodate larger chests as well. The colour shown here is from the Ginger Reds hud.
