Otherworldly

Verdandi is the “middle sister” of the Norns in Norse mythology, her domain is the present and her name essentially means “that which is happening/becoming”. It is also the name of the beautiful makeup set from Seydr for the Fantasy Faire that I am wearing for this post. There’s no Norse-inspired Faireland this year, but between that makeup and the Norse Warrior tack set from Cheval D’or, a Vikingesque post was inevitable. Fortunately, I have a beautiful snowy landscape all of my own. By no means as spectacular as a Faireland, but I think it served these photos well.

Cheval D’ors Norse Warrior set combines finely tooled leather and fur for a classic Viking look, here shown on the Fjordhorse. The set features a bridle and a saddle with a high pommel and cantle, to keep you in your seat during battle.

The bow (which is a little too large for a horsebow, but allow me some fantasy license) is by Broken Arc They have a whole set of weapons decorated by leaves as well as a set with flowers. The bow is scripted for unity maxim v2.5.

My outfit is by 1313 Mockingbird Lane and the boots by Les Encantades.

The Verdandi makeup comes in three versions; black, gold and combined. It is regular (aka non-Evo X) BOM, so I am able to wear it on my Slink head (yay).

The multi-braid hairstyle is by KMH and can be worn in several different ways, including with the braids turned off.
