Otherworldly

Genre has opened its June round and this time Art Deco is the theme. Fairy Sola of Studio Sidhe has made a lovely pack of stylish Art Deco-inspired poses that produce some elegant and period-appropriate silhouettes. The Josephine gown from Senzafine, also available at Genre, was of course the perfect dress to wear with these poses.

Josephine is available in Bronze (seen here) and also in Black. I loved the shadings of colour in the Bronze version in particular and I thought it went very well together with the brown options for the Marquis furniture set from Libertine.

The lines of the gown really capture the Art Deco style and this pose in particular has such a natural elegance.

I wanted to highlight the back of the gown as well, to show the gorgeous deep drapery; that is really excellent use of mesh.

None of the poses were specifically made for back shots, but I found that they were all very nicely balanced and could be shot from any angle.

My hair is Candy from Truth and the skin I am wearing is a new release from Tuli; version two of her Sara skin. I will be taking a closer look at that soon, I hope.
