Otherworldly

The Dog & Pony Show is now open, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for? There are some great new pets from Teegle—both horses and dogs—which I will take a look at soon, but in this post I am continuing with a mix of landscaping and some new coats. I am thinking I might setup a permanent horse farm on one of my sky landscapes. It is a bit tricky doing trails when you’re working with just mesh landscapes, but we’ll see where it lands.

For now, I’ve got the Horse Ranch Homestead from RVi Design setup, including using the fencing to make a larger paddock outside of the main homestead. The Homestead has a couple of items included that are scripted for interaction with the horses plus several other pieces with human animations (gardening, for example). I’ve also added some hay fields surrounding the large paddock, using the Drinker’s Hayfield release from Konoha. Several different looks for the hay are provided through a texture HUD and it includes a huge selection of shapes, including some made to fit hilly ground and sloped ground.

In the background of some of the shots you can see the Equestrian Arena from The Domineaux Effectwhich I looked at in my first post from the Dog & Pony Show.

Three of the new coats are from Corn, here the Dark Light Darling on the Teegle Pegasus with Mythril‘s Pegasus-Arabian cross shape. I guess my Pegasus and my Arabian have been busy. ;)

Before we get to the last coat by Corn we have one by Striped Moon. This one—Donkey of Provence NLP Grey Dove—is actually intended for a donkey, but added to the Teegle Fjord with Mythril‘s Mustang shape mod, I think it makes for a convincing Tarpan.

Finally we have Corn‘s Darn Dapple Darling on the Teegle Pegasus.
