Otherworldly

I would never find the time to change up our sim with the seasons, but I do like having a permanent winter area and it is probably one of my favourite parts of the sim. I love snowy trees and the way light and shadow plays on snow. It was of course the perfect spot to setup the firepit from Roawenwood, so that I could warm myself by it while wrapped in this lovely gown from Junbug. To the existing forest, I added some variety in the shape of a few of the dead trees released by Dysfunctionality for 50 Linden Friday.

The Carolers Wintery Firepit is available as part of the “A Shopping Carol” event, which is a mainstore event with a new release and a hunt item. The easiest way to check out all the participating stores is probably through the free HUD.

The firepit has 11 single animations (including singing and drinking hot cocoa) and 3 couple animations, many with auto-attaching props. Because of the gown I am wearing, which hides your arms and hands completely, I couldn’t show the animations in detail, so do try it out!
