Otherworldly

Before sending me this outfit, Chandra Meehan of deviousMind asked if I was up for it, given what I said in my last post about spiders. I assured her that as long as the spiders weren’t animesh and crawling all over me, I would probably be fine. That said, there are a lot of spiders in this outfit! And I am not even wearing all of them here; there are a few more flexi add-ons, some applier layers (with or without blood) and some other hair/head ornaments (with spiders, of course). Additionally, there’s a nice accessory available for the Once Upon a Nightmare hunt.

The Cydaea outfit was originally only available in black, but has now been updated with sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass and made available in the white version that you see here. The outfit is available at a discounted price during the hunt.

As you can see, it mixes mesh with flexi prims, but if you’ve never used those before there’s a notecard included that explains how to resize and position them.

As soon as I put the outfit on, in particular the collar and the ruff, I knew I needed a really pale skin and red hair because it reminded me so much of the bridal gown in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. That is also why I decided to photo it down in the tunnels of my Fanatik castle.
