Otherworldly

It all started with the latest release from lassitude & ennui for We Love Role-Play. I was struggling to find a good outfit that would show it off and in the process ended up following some weird lines of thought. Like, what if you crossed A Song of Ice and Fire with Victor Milán’s The Dinosaur Lords, a new fantasy series that I read some months back which, yes, has knights on dinosaurs. Its kind of a wacky concept and I am still not entirely sure how I feel about the book, but it definitely had potential. I mean, what is not cool about riding a dinosaur?

So, back to what actually went into this picture. The dinosaur is from Jian’s Dino Buddies gacha at the Arcade and it is one of the rares, a sharp tooth. It comes in three colours, but this black with red stripes is extra cool. The commons are made up of four other types of dinosaurs in 3-4 textures each.

As for my clothing, it consists of the Dragon coat in blood by the Muses paired with two lassitude & ennui pieces; the awesome Thylacine boots and that piece that started it all, the handstitched leather leggings. They are actually appliers rather than mesh and that is just perfect for pants, especially tight ones. This is just what you need for tunics and long shirts to actually fit. Of course, that also makes it hard to show them off, since you’re liable to wear something else over them… But trust me, they are impeccably textured and really cool.

My hair is the latest release from Wasabi Pills, a style called Lee which is available at the Hairology event. My skin is Tuli’s brand-new Skin Fair release, Iris, which next post will give you a much closer look at.
