Otherworldly

I am still wandering about in our new build, this time in the dark dungeons below the upper levels. They are a little bare still as we search for suitable furnishings, but I am already feeling at home there. This post, however, is about a striking new updo hair from Calico for the Secret Affair as well as another lovely piece of jewellery from Aisling for We Love Role-Play.

The gown is not new, but it is no less lovely. I made a more full-figured shape and found that standard sizes didn’t work well even with gowns (they are usually excellent for hiding little issues), so I went through to see what I had in the way of fitmesh gowns and found this one by the Plastik. The Aldryth gown features a beautifully laced-up bodice and a striking skirt, especially in this colour (called “Ultre”) which starts dark at the top and gradually brightens. The pack includes three subtle variations, going from lighter to darker.

The Theia updo from Calico is beautiful formal style that can be worn in four different ways, depending on how elaborately decorated you want it to be. It comes with a HUD for changing the textures on the pearls as well as a streak HUD that allows for a contrasting hair colour if you use the style with the braided net of hair around the bun.

The Licia necklace from Aisling is one of four released for We Love Role-Play. Its a multi-stranded pearl necklace that runs through a metal loop and it comes with a HUD that gives a wide variety of texture options.
