Troubadours

Bare Rose is a true Second Life treasure. The huge store is still filling up with more fun, unusual and inventive outfits on a regular basis, and now most of it is mesh. June Dion only offers a single size for her mesh items, but I’ve found that for the type of clothing I tend to gravitate to it often works out quite well. Such as with the Trobadour and Trobadour Lady outfits, which I knew I had to get for a couple photo with Ran as soon as I saw them.

We’re both wearing the Slink hands—the updated female hands and the brand new male hands—and skins from the Skin Shop. Ran is sporting a recent hair from Dura which I think is just so gorgeous and I am wearing Wasabi Pills.

I am wearing the Pixie skin in tone 03 and Ran is wearing the new Blair skin in tone 09, both from the Skin Shop. Blair was noted as being particularly good in the darker tones, but I have to say I really like the lighter range as well. Its a very handsome, even beautiful face. My hair is Wasabi Pills Selene in Cinnamon and Ran is wearing hair 48 from Dura. I love how it frames his face.

The Trobadour outfits include brown and green versions and two lutes, one for wearing on the back and one with a basic playing animation. The cloak and the boots are also part of the outfit.

The Slink mesh hands, now available for both men and women, truly put the perfect finishing touch on photos like these. You don’t need to come up with ways of obscuring the hands since they no longer detract from the final impression and with a total of 15 poses for each gender you can capture a lot of different, subtle emotions.

The poses used are a mix, from a couple pose by oOo Studios to the poses that come with the Marquis pillows from Libertine. The ruined tower is from Botanicals.
