Alia Baroque of Fallen Gods and Libertine has released an update for the latter brand’s flagship product, the Marquis furniture set. I was thrilled to receive a review copy since I have very much enjoyed the original release of the Marquis set and the new release promised to be even better.
And it does not disappoint. As you will see by the following seven photos—maybe Ran and I got a little carried away, but that’s still only a fraction of the options—the full set gives you a lot to play with as each of the pieces of furniture include a wide array of poses (many new ones have been added compared to the initial release of the set), many which also give out props. Furthermore, each piece is now texture change, offering a total of 10 lush textures. The full set also offers both mature and adult versions of most of the pieces, save for the lounger which only has “safe” poses.
We went for the adult versions, so there’s some not very safe for work images behind the cut.
We used the automatic rezzer to lay out the full set of furniture and props, then shifted the pieces around a bit to fit into our Gatehouse Cottage from Alchemy Immortalis.
The ottoman is lovely in front of a fireplace and in the corner you can glimpse the tray of cognac which is one of the props included.
The range of poses in the adult versions go from single poses and couple sits through various foreplay and “action” options. There’s more vanilla options as well as Gor-influenced and BDSM-influenced options. Some of the furniture also has vampire-inspired poses.
The props that are given out with some poses really add to the atmosphere. How about some cosy storytime? Clothing optional.
Or why not go Roman-style and feed your partner some grapes? These poses would no doubt be great for roleplay purposes as well.
There are, of course, plenty of actual sex poses as well. As you can see, sometimes sitting on the furniture will still put some poses on the floor, so that adds even more variety.
This pose, on the “safe” lounger, felt like a suitable wrap-up pose to a very full evening of “activities”. It really shows how the props enhance the poses and the whole experience of the Marquis set.
You can, of course, buy individual pieces as well as the whole Marquis set, but it really is quite amazing value for money to get the full set.
