Fairs and events have definitely come to occupy a central position in Second Life. Some love it, some not so much. My favourites are the themed ones; the odds are always good that talented designers will get really creative with those. Such as the World Goth Fair, running from May 15th to May 31st and benefiting the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
Nephilaine Protagonist continues to be amazingly productive and at the World Goth Fair you will find releases from several of her brands. For these photos, I am wearing Mourning in silver from the Muses. It is another gorgeous full-length mesh gown, with wonderful lace detailing in the bodice and in the angled drape that covers part of the skirt.
From lassitude & ennui comes the Macabre set, with circlet, earrings and necklace. It is available in gold and silver and in four different gem colours. The bone motif is subtle enough that it can be worn without necessarily looking all that Macabre, though the silver and red combination does highlight this aspect of the set.
My skin is from Nomine—who also is a part of the World Goth Fair, with some fabulous limited edition avatars—and my hair is one of the brand-new releases from Exile. The photos were taken at the soon-to-be-closed Valley of Ish’Nar sim, used for the final part of the hunt for this years Fantasy Faire.
