Again a bit blurry, but I liked the look at Murphy’s technique in this shot. And mine’s once again passable, I think. Need to tuck those elbows in a bit, though, and get myself straightened up. My position is okay for obstacles around this height and a bit higher, but much more and I’d certainly be (at best) clinging to the horse’s neck when landing. But the risk of me tugging a horse in its mouth is pretty darn slim, since I tend to stay forward for long enough instead of both going forward and coming back early.
Of course, some horses will take that as an excuse to accelerate like crazy after landing. Not Murphy, though. ;)
